Welcome

I've heard the complaints for a long time about the lack of decent arts coverage in Indianapolis, especially by major, credible news organizations. I want to change that by presenting Indy Arts and Entertainment Weekly and its companion site, Indy Arts and Entertainment Review. This site will concentrate on providing the best advance coverage and profiles possible of the events and players in the Indianapolis arts community.

Coverage will appear as follows:

Monday - Performing arts, including dance, theater, music and storytelling
Tuesday - Museum and gallery
Wednesday - Literature and media, including books, film, TV and radio
Thursday - Culture, heritage and history
Friday - Whatever suits my fancy

I'm sure many of you remember me from my days at The Indianapolis News and Star where I covered general arts as well as well as served as the dance critic for many years. My experience also includes covering the major museums, concert venues and theater. I also wrote the arts column for Indianapolis Woman magazine for a couple of years.

Indy Arts and Entertainment Weekly is devoted to becoming your primary source for arts and entertainment news in Central Indiana.
